Flat Abs: 3 Simple Tips I Guarantee You Never Knew
Nice flat abs are 80% food and 20% exercise.
It doesn’t matter how many crunches you do, all day, every day, unless you fix your diet, your midsection will not lean down.
Here are 3 simple and easy steps that I guarantee you did not know could make or break in you having flat abs:
1- Do not drink liquids with your meals:
It is not about the calories or the sugar in the drinks but the fluid itself. When you ingest any fluid with your meal, even water, it gets in the way of the digestion of the foods, making it sit in your stomach, causing bulkiness in your intestines.
Try avoiding liquids with your meals for 7 to 10 days; you will not want to drink with your meals again.
2- Manage your food quantity:
Managing your food quantity does not mean you need to be hungry all the time, but manage it in a way where, when you finish eating, you are not full to bursting, and you are not hungry either.
The quantity of food you eat at every meal could be the game-changer to having flat abs.
Your brain needs 20 minutes to realize your stomach is full. If you slow down your eating pace, you could feel satiated by eating a smaller quantity of food.
3- Manage your fat intake:
The key is to minimize the amount of fat you ingest per day, which has a massive impact on weight loss and your overall body fat, starting with your mid-section.
To do that without too much stress, stay conscious of what you are adding to your meals. For instance, if you add an avocado to your smoothie, refrain from adding seeds and nuts. If you love olives as I do, then cook without oil and enjoy olives with your meal.
Fixing your diet is not about stressing and punishing yourself; but about making smooth adjustments that fit your taste and keep you smiling :)
